Three construction equipment brands were presented by Geotrading AD at the StroMa Expo 2016 exhibition—LiuGong, Lännen and Atlas Copco. No less than 7 vehicles showed the professional audience what they can do in the field, while another 5 were on display at the company’s booth.

The two tracked backhoes, LiuGong 922E and 936E, the 856H front loader and the 365B skid steer loader took center stage at the demonstration area. The tracked vehicles have 22 tonnes weight and 1 cubic metre bucket capacity, 26 tonnes and 36.2 tonnes weight, more than 7.34 metres maximum digging depth and 1.6 cubic metres standard bucket capacity , respectively. With their speed, economy and proven quality of their main assemblies, they are the perfect choice for the Bulgarian conditions. The professionals could see for themselves the excellent gradeability, even on a rocky ground. “I tested the 936E. I liked the hydraulics of this backhoe,” said one of the first professionals to test the vehicle during the exhibition.

The LiuGong 856H front loader, with its engine, compliant with the Euro 4 emission standard, was also featured at the demonstration area. The vehicle is a unique combination of quality design and low fuel consumption. It has a bucket size of 3.3 cubic meters. The professionals at the exhibition appreciated the loader’s automated centralised lubrication system, relieving the operators of their daily greasing tasks.

The LiuGong 365B skid steer loader impressed the spectators with its manoeuvrability and easy handling. Both this vehicle and the smaller LiuGong 365B version can be equipped with a hydraulic hammer, fork, snowplough, pick-up sweeper for street cleaning, hydraulic shear and auger.

“The LiuGong product range offered by Geotrading AD is made for the European market and meets its requirements. The feedback for the E and H series was excellent,” said company managers.

For a second consecutive year, the company presented the Lännen 8800i multi-purpose vehicle at StroMa Expo. “It is unique on the Bulgarian construction equipment market. It’s like no other vehicle. It can be used in construction, railway repair, winter road maintenance and forestry,” company officials said. Lännen 8800i’s special capability, allowing it to grab a pole and set it upright to be installed, attracted most of the visitors’ interest.

The Dynapac-Atlas Copco CA5500 roller demonstration attracted a lot of attention as well. The roller is intended for soil compaction. The visitors at the event were also able to test the Dynapac-Atlas Copco PL500 cold planer, with its 50-centimetre cutting drum and 5-meter foldable rear conveyor, making it an excellent choice for road repair. “Atlas Copco is a renowned and long-established brand in Bulgaria,” Geotrading AD officials noted.

On display, at the ProAuto by Geotrading booth, right across from the demonstration area, were the LiuGong forklift trucks, 385B skid steer loader and 904D tracked excavator, Dynapac-Atlas Copco CC1300 Plus roller, Belshina, Barkley and Bridgestone tyres, Hensley ground-engaging tools, Rymax lubricants, Inelas Poliuretanos screening meshes and Swiss RKB bearings.

Svetoslav Glosov, and executives from many partner companies.
