A “Bulgarian Virtues” celebration for employees’ children

The founders of the Bulgarian Virtues Charity Programme – Geotechmin, Ellatzite-Med, Geostroy and Geotrading – organised an exciting celebration on the occasion of the International Children's Day. Six hundred and fifty children, together with their parents and grandparents, joined the fun at the ProAuto Centre in the town of Etropole or at the Mirkovo Sports Complex. There they played, danced and sang.

The youngsters “boarded” a plane. A male and female flight attendant accompanied them and together they flew across 5 countries on different continents. The children learned interesting facts and went on marvellous adventures – from a competition to stack cups into a pyramid, through carrying water, to volleyball with beach towels and water balloons. For the youngest children, there was a playground and a face painting area. There was also a special station for constructing and decorating kites. The last destination on the itinerary was Bulgaria. There, the children used the traditional Bulgarian cowlstaff “kobilitsa” and buckets “mentsi” to carry water. At the end of the journey, the teams were awarded certificates.

The celebration in Etropole ended with an exciting performance of the talented pop singer Dara Ekimova, who sang along the children and gave autographs. In Mirkovo, Poli Genova put on a wonderful concert for all participants.

The children received gifts from the organisers of the event, Geotechmin, Ellatzite-Med, Geostroy and Geotrading.

The employees of the companies shared that the celebration brought a lot of joy to them, as parents, too, because they had the opportunity to chat with friends and colleagues.
